What we are doing:
Dandy's Artisan Ice Cream is committed providing a safe and healthy workplace for all our workers and customers during this time.
It is our hope that the actions we are taking will help reduce potential spread and exposure of COVID-19. They align with guidelines set out by the Public Health Order of Saskatchewan by Dr. Saqib Shahab on March 19, 2020. As well as the Public Health Order (PHO) on April 17, 2020 regarding control of transmission that we can continue to serve take out food with 2 metre distancing between customers.
A summary of actions we are taking:
•Allowing up to 17 guests in the store at a time, seating at half Capacity. No sampling at this time.
•Providing a pre-order option for contactless curbside pick up via the Ice Cream Pick Up on our website.
•Implementing social distancing measures including floor markings and having parts of the store blocked from public access.
•Encouraging guests to not come in large groups and send only one person to order.
•Providing our team with the option to wear masks and gloves.
•Public awareness signage to promote social distancing and to avoid entering the shop if unwell.
•Monitoring and making sure our staff stay home if they are unwell.
•Increased sanitizing of high-touch areas like counters, debit/credit machines, doors, etc.
•Providing alcohol-based sanitizer for both customer and staff use.
•Following all safe food handling requirements including proper dish washing, store cleaning and hand washing techniques.
